Pursuant to paragraph 8.23(1)(ii) and Practice Note No. 11/2001 of the Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the Board of Directors of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad ("TCMH") wishes to announce that the aggregate amount of financial assistance provided as at 31 December 2006 pursuant to the ordinary course of business of TC Capital Resources Sdn Bhd ("TCCR"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of TCMH, is as set out below:-| Type of Financial Assistance |

The provision of financial assistance as set out above would not have any significant impact to the earnings and cashflow of TCMH Group for the year ending 31 December 2007 as the quantum of the total loans provided is insignificant in relation to the Group's net assets and the money lending business of the Group has just commenced in 2006.
